I agree with below, depending on your major id find the department for it and speak with them about your goals and classes then find the appropriate counselor. For example I know there is a business department and they have a better understanding of courses needed for getting that certificate or degree.

Hi Andrea, I had the same problem lol. Mostly because the requirements for majors keep changing.Even though they are all counselors there are some who are more knowledgeable in your specific major. When you ask for a counselor don't take the first available, ask them who is best for your major and they are more likely to pair you with the appropriate counselor.
